Sacred Collaborative Leadership Programme: Supplementary Guidance on Fees and Gifting

We know many people appreciate more guidance when considering their own capacity and willingness to give, in the context of the needs and capacities of others. Hence, more concrete examples are offered below as a guide to the amount to pay/gift for the SCL programme . Please look at each example, and consider where you land most to help guide your process.

The payment amount would also be touched on in our video call, and we can look at a figure that will work for all.

Payment secures your place, and also gives us clarity moving forwards.

1) Gifting Fee Range
£701-£1K

Participants who pay within this range help us also cover for those who have less capacity to give, thus enabling us to meet our needs to run, sustain, and potentially grow, this programme. It will also enable a more economically diverse range of participants on the programme, which enriches everyone’s experience and benefits wider communities.

This might be the range for you if:

  • You own your home or property, or you rent a higher-end property, or you do not need to worry about housing costs

  • You have money to spend (‘disposable income’)

  • You do not currently struggle to meet your basic material needs

  • You can easily afford to buy new items (even though you may choose not to)

  • You have access to savings

  • You are employed/self-employed OR you do not need to work to meet your basic needs

  • You can easily afford to pay for more than one holiday or retreat a year

2) Standard Fee Range
£600-£700

If all participants on average paid within this range, we would expect to meet our financial needs to run this programme

This might be the range for you if:

  • You own your home or property, or you rent a mid-range property, or you do not need to worry about having housing

  • You have money to spend (‘disposable income’)

  • You are able to meet all of your basic material needs

  • You can afford to buy some new items (even though you may choose not to)

  • You may have debt, but you can still cover your basic material needs

  • You can often have access to some financial savings

  • You are mostly employed/self-employed (or you do not need to always work to meet your basic material needs)

  • You can afford to pay for an annual holiday or retreat

3) Subsidised Fee Range
£350-£599

Participants who pay within this range are subsidised by other participants paying a higher level range

This might be the range for you if:

  • You have stable housing nearly all the time

  • You have money to spend (‘disposable income’)

  • You may worry about meeting your basic material needs but mostly meet them

  • You are able to buy some new or second hand items

  • You may have some debt but it does not prohibit you meeting your basic material needs

  • You sometimes have access to financial savings

  • You are mostly employed/self-employed (or you can mostly get by without working)

  • You can take a holiday or retreat every few years

4) Extra-Subsidised Fee Range
Amount can be discussed

Participants who pay within this range are being more substantially subsidised by participants paying a higher level range

This might be the range for you if:

  • You rent a lower-end flat/property (through no choice of your own) or have unstable housing

  • You often have no or very limited money to spend (‘disposable income’)

  • You frequently worry about meeting your basic material needs and don’t always meet them

  • You rarely buy new items because you are unable to afford them

  • You have debt and it sometimes prevents you from meeting your basic material needs

  • You have no access to savings

  • You are unemployed or underemployed

  • You qualify for government assistance

  • You cannot afford a holiday or retreat or to take time off without financial burden
